We specialize in the inspection and maintenance of your truck’s diagnostic and electrical system, regardless of the make or model.
Contact UsIt may not look like it, but today’s trucks are just as much computers as they are machines. They require constant inspection and maintenance to ensure everything’s both up-to-date and functioning correctly.
Your truck possesses a sophisticated system of electrical and diagnostic components that monitor your truck’s performance across a vast array of metrics. They govern everything from the status of your engine to breaking down your exhaust gases. Other components, like the engine control module, also hold a sophisticated set of parameters that can be modified to alter your truck’s performance depending on the job required.
At Regen Diesel Repair, we specialize in the inspection and maintenance of your truck’s diagnostic and electrical system, regardless of the make or model. From Cummins to Detroit Diesel to Caterpillar, our team of highly qualified mechanics has worked on them all and knows them inside and out. We use industry-leading technology and tools alongside manufacturer-approved software to assess the state of your truck’s diagnostics and electrical system, fixing any problem that emerges no matter the complexity. Our technicians are fully MX-certified, so there’s no need to deliver your truck to the dealership for system overhauls. We’ll fix the problem the first time and get you back out on the road putting money in your pocket.
When a comprehensive diagnostic test is done on your truck, it can tell you and the mechanic a lot that otherwise wouldn’t be obvious. Diagnostic testing can assess the extent of the damage in major components such as your engine’s engine control unit, for example. Performed via hooking into your truck’s OBD II port (present on all trucks built after 1996), the test can identify such things as malfunctioning sensors or clogged ports that require cleaning or even the necessity of replacing the entire ECU.
A diagnostic scan can also identify problems outside your engine, such as issues with the truck’s anti-lock brake system. These are difficult to identify and can become major issues by the time any sign crops up. By performing a scan, the mechanic can specifically identify the malfunction using relevant software and address the issue before it becomes a matter of safety.
