Contact UsWith how long you or your drivers can spend on the road or on the job site, it’s understandable that you want to remain comfortable. That’s where your diesel vehicle’s HVAC system comes in.
Designed to provide heating and air conditioning to your vehicle’s cabin, the HVAC system has an assortment of other components that work in concert to provide you with the best comfort possible. These include the air filter, evaporator coil, blower motor, housing, and ducting. If your HVAC system begins suffering issues, then not only do you lose comfort but this can also affect the performance of your vehicle; for example, in colder climates, if the HVAC system is faulty then your vehicle can have difficulty defrosting your windows; this can put you at risk of accidents due to low visibility.
Regen Diesel Repair is fully qualified and experienced to work on diesel vehicle HVAC systems, no matter the setup. Our mechanics use only the best tools and technology on the market. We’ll inspect your vehicle’s HVAC system from top to bottom to ensure no problems, both current and potential, are missed. We cover all aspects of your HVAC system, from the mechanical to electronic components, to make sure every connection is functioning together properly. Our parts are sourced directly from the manufacturer so you can rest assured that only the highest quality parts are introduced into your truck.
Within your HVAC system, the blend door is the primary piece responsible for controlling the flow of hot or cold air into your truck’s cabin. A broken blend door is also one of the most common problems with an HVAC system. If it becomes broken, then air can’t flow properly into and through the cabin; the automatic temperature control system also won’t work as long as the door remains broken. This can have knock-on effects outside of the truck’s HVAC. Your engine will be working harder to properly heat you and your truck, reducing your fuel economy. Additionally, as mentioned previously with weak airflow your truck can have trouble defrosting the vehicle’s windows during the wintertime. This can put you and drivers around you in danger due to lower visibility which is especially detrimental in some of the more extreme winter conditions.
